Galatians 3:1-2, “O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you? This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?”
The apostle Paul wrote an urgent letter to the church at Galatia, deeply
concerned that they were getting involved in wrong repentance and a
counterfeit gospel. Paul asks them one question in Galatians 3:2b,
“Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the
hearing of faith?” Ladies and gentlemen, that is
EASY-BELIEVISM!!! We are saved by BELIEVING the Gospel when we hear it
preached! That is how 3,000 people were saved in Acts 2:41, “Then they
that gladly received his word were baptized:
and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.”
With this wonderful truth in mind, that it is EASY to be saved, let's now read Matthew 7:13-14 in the trustworthy and inspired King James Bible...
KING JAMES BIBLE (KJB) - Matthew 7:13-14, “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”
What this means is that it is so simple, free and easy to be saved, that many people pass over the simplicity of the Gospel and go to Hell. They completely miss the free gift of forgiveness of sins that includes eternal life, because they've been deceived by the Devil, as the Bible warns in 2nd Corinthians 4:4, “In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” Satan BLINDS unbelievers with fake Bible versions which corrupt the Gospel, by teaching Lordship Salvation and Wrong Repentance.
The Holy Bible says “strait is the
gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there
be that FIND IT.” Carefully notice that the Bible plainly doesn't
say that the way is HARD. The Bible doesn't say that the way is DIFFICULT.
Rather, the Bible says that the way is straight and narrow, which is why
only a few people ever find it. Do you see the big difference? It is not
difficult to get saved. It is not hard to believe the Gospel. If you
believe the Gospel when you hear it preached, you are saved!!!

this age of information to remain woefully ignorant.

woefully indifferent, complacent, unwilling to suffer persecution for the
name of Jesus. They won't receive any rewards from the Lord when He returns
for their cowardice. Their earthly salaries are the only reward which they
will ever receive,. God doesn't reward unfaithful servants who intentionally
stand back, while their brethren go to war alone, suffer alone, and are put
outside the gate with Jesus. Where are the 7,000 who haven't bowed their
knee to Baal? We need them now in our churches! Sadly, most pastors today
(which includes most independent Baptist ministers) aren't even amongst the
7,000, because they HAVE sold out and bowed their knee to Baal. Most Baptist
pastors today have sold out to ecumenism—having bought into into the Devil's
fake Bible versions, subscribing to Dr. John MacArthur's satanic Calvinist
teachings and false gospel, teaching
Wrong Repentance and the ungodly heresy of

don't care. I've never seen such a bunch of yuppie-type spoiled brats, who
lack respect for others. There's an apostate independent Baptist church down
the street from me, who employ several dozen Bob Jones graduates on their
staff (they have a large religious school). They despise me for telling them
THE TRUTH. They teach wrong repentance. They teach Lordship Salvation. They
use the corrupt Alexandrian Bible versions. They have honored Ray Comfort
and Ravi Zacharias, by inviting these false prophets to speak at their
Laodicean church. They pass out John MacArthur's study materials at church.
When I befriended them with THE TRUTH in 2014, they counted me as an enemy,
and have shunned me away and ostracized me since. They do not walk in the
Holy Spirit. I am a testimony against them for judgment day. They are
pulling on the same rope as the Devil. Mark Twain rightly said, “It's
easier to fool people than to convince them that they have been fooled.”
Matthew 11:28-30 and Resting in Jesus Christ for Salvation
I have pondered the following passage of Scripture much this week. I have consulted numerous Bible commentaries to see what other saints think. Here is the famous passage of Scripture...
Matthew 11:28-30, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
Every commentary that I reviewed concluded that the Lord was speaking about discipleship here, and I have no problem with that, but I cannot help but also apply this passage to getting saved. Surely, there is no “REST” for the unsaved soul. And if we study the context of this passage, examining surrounding Scriptures, please consider what Jesus just said in Matthew 11:24, “But I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee.” So it would seem, from examining the Scriptures, that Jesus was giving an invitation to the unsaved people of Capernaum to find rest for their souls. I think sometimes people “overthink” while studying the Bible and read too much into a passage. Just because the Bible mentions the word “yoke” (an apparatus used to enable two animals; such as oxen, to pull a plow) doesn't automatically imply “works.”
There is no reason whatsoever to think that the Lord wasn't referring to salvation. Surely, the person who labours in works to be saved, cannot find true peaceful rest for their soul. A man is saved when he CEASES from his own labors and completely RESTS in the finished work of Jesus Christ. Is that not what this passage of Scripture is telling us? Yes, it sure is! Hebrews 4:10-11, “For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.” And please notice, if you will, that the Bible says to “labour” to enter into God's rest. That is the only “WORK” which God allows in salvation, that we believe on the Lord. I'll prove it to you with another passage of Scripture from John 6:28-29, “Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.” So there you have it, if you want to do WORKS to be saved, then there is only one work to be done, which is to REST IN JESUS CHRIST!!! The work of God is that you cease from your own works and BELIEVE ON JESUS WHOM THE FATHER HATH SENT! Amen!
The self-righteous Pharisees had made the way of salvation difficult and hard. They went about to establish their OWN righteousness, instead of submitting to GOD'S RIGHTEOUSNESS through faith in Jesus Christ (Romans 10:3-4; Philippians 3:9). Jesus warned the people in Matthew 5:20, “For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.” The Pharisees has turned the plan of salvation into a nightmare, which placed heavy burdens upon people's shoulders. Matthew 23:1-4, “Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples, Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat: All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not. For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.”
My friend, there is no burden any heavier than TRYING to work one's way into Heaven. The errantly plan of salvation of Ray Comfort, Paul Washer and John MacArthur is a gospel of fear and uncertainly, where you constantly struggle to live right and hope you make it to Heaven someday. This is NOT the easy and light burden which Jesus promised to those who take His yoke upon themselves. Hebrews 4:10-11 (which I just quoted to you) says that we are saved by RESTING in Christ, just as God rested from His creative labors on the seventh day. The Old Testament Sabbath Day represents Jesus, in Whom we completely REST to be saved. There is no other way of salvation. Jesus said in John 14:6, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” If you want the new birth, which is true spiritual life, then you must find it in Jesus, Who is life.
No man finds REST for his soul in becoming a disciple of Christ. I don't understand why so many theologians automatically associate this great passage with following Christ. You can only obtain REST for your soul by resting in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The “Gospel” is the Good News of Christ Jesus Christ, Who endured being crucified on a cross, shedding His precious blood and dying for OUR SINS. He was buried. Three wonderful days later, Jesus miraculously and physically resurrected from the dead, and was seen by over 500 saints at one time, then ascended into Heaven, and is now seated on the right-hand of God the Father, alive forevermore (Romans 8:34; 1st Corinthians 15:1-6). WHAT A BLESSED SAVIOUR!!! If anyone receives Christ's sacrifice upon the cross as full-payment for their sins, believing that Christ has risen from the dead, they are instantly and eternally saved. That is “THE GOSPEL.”
Jesus said... COME UNTO ME, ALL YE THAT LABOUR AND ARE HEAVY LADEN, AND I WILL GIVE YOU REST!!! So many people spend a lifetime trying to merit eternal life, laboring earnestly to preach in Jesus' name, performing “MANY WONDERFUL WORKS,” but one day they will hear the horrorifying words from the Lord... DEPART FROM ME, YE THAT WORK INIQUITY, FOR I NEVER KNEW YOU (Matthew 7:21-23). You see my friend, God doesn't save anyone who is TRYING to be saved, He only saves those who are TRUSTING to be saved. Satan's greatest weapon is to con people into living the Christian life, without ever being born-again. Salvation is not doing your best, it is having Christ's best put to your account through receiving Him by faith. Salvation is not achieved, it is received.
Religion is man trying to reach God through human effort, but Christianity is God trying to reach man by the sacrifice of His only begotten Son on the cross. Literally, YOU NEED HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS!!! Matthew 6:33, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” That is, the IMPUTED RIGHTEOUSNESS of God through faith in Christ. Philippians 3:9, “And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith.” Let it be so my friend in your soul.
