1st John 2:22-23, “Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.”
Satan is a beautiful liar. The Holy Bible teaches us as believers that the
Devil is the god of this world. 2nd Corinthians 4:3-4, “But if our gospel
be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god
of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not,
lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God,
should shine unto them.” There are many ways that Satan blinds people:
religion, humanism, pride, counterfeit Bible versions, riches, evolution
(false science), et cetera.
One of the most deceptive false religions is Buddhism. Worldwide, there are an estimated 488,000,000 Buddhists.[1] China has the largest Buddhist population, about 244,000,000 practitioners. Sadly, all of these people are still hellbound in their sins without a Savior. As our text passage of Scripture warns, a liar is someone who denies that Jesus is the Christ. That means all Buddhists are liars! I didn't say that, God almighty did. Tragically, although only 2% of Americans are Jewish, a shocking 30% of all American Buddhists are Jewish.[2]
I have a Buddhist booklet in front of me, titled, “The Buddhist Perspective Of Life And Destiny.” The following quote is amazing, when you consider that Evangelist Paul Washer and Seventh-day Adventists teach the same thing, that is, that behavior modification is necessary to have eternal life. On page 35 it reads...
Character modification is the prescription for changing destiny; repentance and making amends is the medicine for building a new future. Headaches and sorrows arise because we do not know how to turn around.

Folks, your behavior has NOTHING to do with going to Heaven. We are all dirty, guilty, sinners in God's holy sight. We all deserve to spend eternity burning in the Lake of Fire. Since humans are not as holy as our morally perfect Creator, man cannot fathom why we deserve such a horrible everlasting punishment. But my friend, “the scripture cannot be broken” (John 10:35b). I highly suggest that you do not strive against God. Isaiah 45:9, “Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands?”
Look how subtle the Devil is, where unsaved reprobate Buddhists speak of “faith” without Christ...
Beliefs Can Change Our Destiny
A life of faith is like a voyage with a destination—a journey with direction. Faith gives purpose to a task, and helps us to work expeditiously toward a goal. The power derived from faith is like a motor that gives the energy to proceed and to change destiny.
The importance of faith cannot be overestimated... Religious faith provides the courage to endure the most serious setbacks. It opens the heart and mind to bear the seeming inequalities of life, and it raises destiny to a whole new dimension.

Ladies and gentleman, Buddhism is a satanic substitute for Biblical Christianity. Jesus warned in John 3:3, “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” There is no other way to get to Heaven and have eternal life. Either you go through the Lord Jesus Christ, or you burn in the fires of Hell forever and ever. Faith in religion cannot save you! Buddhism is very deceptively dangerous, possessing some of the key elements of the Christian vocabulary (terms like “faith” and “repentance”), but the precious Lamb of God is trampled underfoot in Buddhism!

In the midst of misfortune, some people think that their ill fate is the design of the gods, and that to struggle is futile. They become glum, frustrated, and passive. They put their precious future into the hands of their imagined gods and willingly become enslaved. The Buddha teaches that destiny is within our own control, not even the gods, can dictate our destinies. We are our own masters; we are the architects of our own future. What an arrogant fool to flaunt man's will over God almighty. When Mr. Yun
disregards “the gods,” He is blaspheming our Creator, God Himself. Do you
really foolishly think that God cannot dictate your eternal destiny? What
saith the Scripture? Matthew 10:28, “And fear not them which kill the
body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear
him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.”
Proverbs 15:11, “Hell and destruction are before the LORD:
how much more then the hearts of the children of men?” Revelation 1:18, “I
am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen;
and have the keys of hell and of death.”
What saith the Scripture? Luke
13:23-24, “Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he
said unto them,
Lu:13:24: Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many,
I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.”
In eternity, at the Great White Throne Judgment, MANY people are going to
desperately try to make their case to enter into Heaven, but only a FEW will
be able. That is what the Lord Jesus Christ said. Every Buddhist will want
to enter into Heaven, but shall not be able. You see, Buddha didn't die on
the cross for your sins. Buddha is still dead, lying in his earthly grave.
Buddha's soul is burning in the torments of Hell this moment, regretting his
stupidity.
Who are you going to believe, a proudful Godless idiot named Buddha who decided to become a positive thinker to be happy in life, or the inspired words of almighty God Who CAN dictate where you will spend eternity? The choice is yours my friend. But if you do spend eternity in Hell, it will indeed be by your own foolish hand, by your own decision to reject the Good News of Christ Jesus, Who died on the cross in your place to pay for all your sins, so that you could be with Him in Heaven forever, enjoying all the blessings of God. Unlike Buddha who is still in his earthly grave, Christ is risen!!!

Mr. Yun calls his Creator an “imagined god.” Buddhism is a Godless religion! In a horrifying paradoxical way, Mr. Hsing is correct, we are the “masters” of our own destiny, choosing whether to accept or reject God's free gift of eternal life by faith alone in Jesus Christ! And yes, Buddha is a good example of a man who mastered his own destiny, because Buddha is now burning in the fires and torments of Hell forever and ever, without hope or relief, without even a drop of water to cool his tongue (Luke 16:19-31). Is that where and how you want to spend eternity? You can either spend eternity smoking or non-smoking, the choice is yours!
When you think about it, sinful pride hinders many people from being saved. If you are reading this, you can be saved right now, this instant, for free. It won't cost you anything. You don't need to stop doing any bad things. You don't need to start doing any good things. These are works. Eternal life is the free gift of God. Romans 6:23, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” YOU NEED TO SUBMIT TO GOD'S RIGHTEOUSNESS, WHICH IS THROUGH FAITH ALONE IN JESUS CHRIST! Philippians 3:9, “And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith.” If you reject this offer, it is only because of your own foolish sinful pride. PLEASE BELIEVE THE GOSPEL NOW AND LIVE ETERNALLY!!!

Still, he was not satisfied with palace life, and relinquished fame , wealth, family, and even loved ones. He chose to seek the path of Truth on his own, and in so doing, he build a boundless life for himself. Notice that Mr. Hsing says Buddha “chose to seek the path of Truth.” No, he chose the error of the wicked!!! Romans 10:3-4, “For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.” Mr. Buddha went about to establish his own righteousness, but he failed to SUBMIT to God's righteousness, which is through faith in Jesus Christ. So there is a “BY WORKS” righteousness, and there is a “BY FAITH” righteousness! Romans 10:4 says that CHRIST IS THE END OF THE LAW FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS TO EVERYONE THAT BELIEVES!
Many wicked people like Buddhism because it imposes no religious standards, no rules of conduct, no Scriptures to obey. You can become a Buddhist and be your own master! When you become a Christian, Jesus automatically becomes your Master. You don't make Jesus Lord, He is Lord! God does not require you to receive Christ as “Lord” to be saved, only your Savior, but when you get saved He does become your Lord (Master). Hopefully at some point in your growth in grace, you'll present your body a living sacrifice to follow Jesus as His disciple (Romans 12:1). But this is discipleship, not sonship.
